WELCOME TO DYNAMIC COLLEGE COACHING

J.T. Geehr provides personalized, one-on-one counseling for students and student-athletes, as well as for their parents. Her goal is to alleviate the stress and anxiety so often associated with college preparation. She brings clarity, and develops strategies to help families navigate smoothly through the college admissions process.

ABOUT J.T.

J.T. Geehr received her B.A. from UCLA, a teaching credential, and her Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA.  As the mother of three - two Stanford and one Cal Poly San Luis Obispo - J.T. understands the family dynamics in preparing for and choosing a college.  Her goal is to alleviate the stress and anxiety so often associated with the college preparation, selection, and admissions process, and to supplement the efforts of the high school counselor.  

A member of the National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC), the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), and the Western Association of College Admission Counselors (WACAC), J.T. attends conferences and seminars to stay informed about the latest trends in admissions. She volunteers for the UCLA Alumni Association to evaluate scholarship applications and interview applicants. She also visits colleges throughout the state and across the country, in order to give her clients first hand information and help them make better decisions. From the Ivies to the UCs, from small private colleges to large public universities, J.T. can help you to find the right college match.
